At Wildlife Foxton Trust we have the vision of "Education by Example". To learn about some of our forgotten fauna (animals) of skinks, gecko and fish we provide up-close experiences of some of our more common NZ gecko's and native fish on display. To also support this learning we provide hands-on opportunities with exotic lizards so children can understand the impact that introduced species have on our native fauna and their habitats.
The tour lasts approximately 1/2 an hour and runs twice a day on listed days. For tours outside of these times may be booked but are subject to availability of volunteers and a minimum charge.
