Come and experience working in our warm and friendly studio to learn all the basic techniques in our Pottery 101 class through making three projects from our Spring collection. Make a swashbuckling Plant Pirate, ceramic planter who has a round-bellied form with peg legs perfect for a small house plant. Then build your own fantastical Bonsai Legalot pot as the perfect holder for some greenery or a couple of lemons. Finally, make your own hanging Ivan the Tiny Terrarium from an enclosed form with a painted coloured slip coating which would look great in your bathroom. You will then be guided through the glazing process to finish them ready to use. All of the necessary pottery techniques to make these projects will be all be covered over the 6-week class and on the 7th week join your tutor Emma Turner for an hour to plant up to one of your creations before taking to home to enjoy.
All materials and firing are included in the pricing you just need to bring an apron and maybe a friend! Add on as an extra our Throwing 101 class once you have completed this class.
