Greerton Village Yarn Bombing

Theme for 2020 "Aotearoa , what it means to me" 30 Trees around Greerton Village, coloured up for Winter in amazing yarn creations. An amazing array of tree sleeves designed and knitted by many people all year long to bring our village to life in Winter. Come out and vote for your favourite creation at any of 8 stores displaying a Voting poster or vote on our Facebook page.

Installations will be up until 23 August 2020.

With this years theme you can expect to see knitted depictions of: Rugby, Pukeko's, gum boots, honey and honey bees, Edmonds cook book, marmite, NZ scenery and much more.

$2000 prize money kindly donated by Crockford Real Estate t/a Ray White Greerton will go to local charities ($1500) and the creators $500.
