Artist statement:
This exhibition is an exploration of the artists own hidden emotions, revealing insecurities that are sometimes small and insignificant or global and universal in their nature. Frivolous personal insecurities such as “does he like me?” through to global insecurities of “will the human race survive?” have manifested in this exhibition of emotional rebellion.

At a time in human history where we face exceptional challenges, people can feel insignificant and powerless. Such emotions have driven the artist to explore the flip side and create works that embody empowerment, confidence, flamboyance and rebellion.

Rebellion is the most genuine human emotional response to an imbalance of power or lack of equilibrium. These works beckon the audience to explore their own hidden emotions, to tap into the strength that comes with emotional rebellion, leading us into a future where anything is possible.
