Associate Professor Liana Machado will be presenting research conducted in her laboratory that investigates the mechanisms and machinery underlying healthy brain functions, and the cognitive deficits that emerge as a result of brain disease and healthy aging.
She has been a lecturer at the University of Otago since 2003. Her primary areas of expertise are neuropsychology and cognitive psychology.
