Join professionals in Hawke’s Bay on Friday 6 March for an inspiration afternoon tea at the Old Church to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Embracing the 2020 theme #Each for Equal – an equal world is an enabled world, International Women’s Day brings people together to celebrate the achievements of women; and to inspire, motivate and unite friends, colleagues and communities to join the global movement for a gender equal world.

We’ll hear from 3 inspiring women, who will share their views and insights into what #EachforEqual means to them.

Nicki Nicol joined NZR in 2017 after several senior Executive roles at BP in NZ, Australia and the UK. She started as the CFO and that role has now grown to have a wider organisational focus as COO. Nicki is also responsible for leading the implementation of the Respect & Responsibility Review completed in 2017, a major cultural change programme, aiming to transform Rugby in NZ into a more welcoming and safer place.

Emma Jensen has played rugby union for New Zealand (Black Ferns), Auckland and Hawke’s Bay. She was a member of three successful Rugby World Cup campaigns in 2002, 2006 and 2010, and played in 2014 World Cup.

Leanne Lazarus, General Manager Customer Outcomes, Westpac. Leanne has over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, having held several senior executive roles leading large teams and driving transformational change across diverse cultures.

Leanne has worked in Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. As an advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, Leanne is the executive sponsor of Westpac’s Cultural Diversity employee action group (EAG).

We welcome anyone to come along regardless of gender, so gather your colleagues and friends and enjoy an afternoon out of the office to celebrate IWD!

This event is brought to you by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and proudly sponsored by Westpac.
