Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
This evening course runs over six Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:30 PM starting 4 August 2020.
Introduction to Argentine Tango - enjoy the music, find the rhythm, and dance through the 8 step basic, then go on to basic turns, forward and backward figure of 8 turns, stops and starts, and leg curls.
Bring your dance partner otherwise come and enjoy dancing with other students and the dance tutor. Ladies, flat shoes are recommended.
The course fee is $130 per couple. Single dancers, please contact the office if you wish to enquire about joining this course.
Dance instructor: Don Cooke. Don also teaches the following introductory level courses at Selwyn Community Education: Swing Dancing, Latin and Ballroom, Intro to Reggaeton, Salsa and Bachata and Dance to the Music.
Places are limited on this course, due to floor space in the studio, so please register early to ensure you secure places.
