Introduction to the Peace Education Program.
The Peace Education Program is an innovative series of video-based workshops that help participants discover and develop their own inner resources and strengths.
The course consists of 10 workshops, each based around a particular theme with 20-30 minutes of short videos. The content is drawn from peace advocate and author Prem Rawat’s international presentations, media interviews, and interactions with a diverse range of audiences.
The Peace Education Program focuses on these ten relevant themes: Peace, Appreciation, Inner Strength, Self-awareness, Dignity, Choice, Hope, Clarity, Understanding and Contentment. The content is inclusive and non-political.
The workshop sessions are designed to promote critical and creative thinking, genuine reflection, and thoughtful discussion while helping participants develop greater personal awareness and resilience.
The Peace Education Program uses a variety of methods to present the content, including
animated shorts, direct to camera talks, and music videos that appeal to different learners and learning styles.
In addition to the videos, the workshop format includes discussion topics and activities to enhance participant learning. Accompanying print materials include a one-page article on each theme and participant Workbook.
