Our Introductory Hindi language classes begin in Term 1 with a focus on learning the Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script and basic conversation and vocabulary. Subsequent Terms reinforce both reading and writing, and focus on grammar, conversation and vocabulary.

Two teaching streams are currently on offer, one class for school-aged kids aged 10 and above that is offered on weekdays after school, and adult classes offered in the late afternoons and early evenings:

Introductory Hindi for Kids (Hindi 011):
- Specifically designed for children ages 10-19 who do not know how to read, write or speak the Hindi language.
- Introductory classes began with learning the Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script, writing and reading practice, and included basic introductory grammar and some conversation.
- Term 2 classes will continue with Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script reading and writing practice, and will continue with introductory grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.
- Kids who already understand and speak Hindi, but who do not know how to read and write in Devanāgarī, may chose to enroll in the Term 1 course only.
- Meets Thursday afternoons from 4:00-5:30pm.
- Classes begin on Thursday 13 February 2020 and run for eight successive weeks, with the last class of the Term held on Thursday 2 April 2020.
- Subsequent classes (Hindi 012, 013, and 014) will be held in the same time slot for the rest of the year.

Introductory Hindi for Adults (Hindi 101-Beginners):
- Specifically designed for adults (and older teens) who do not know how to read, write or speak the Hindi language, and who may wish to enroll in an evening class.
- Classes begin with learning the Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script, writing and reading practice, and include basic introductory grammar and some conversation. Term 2 classes (Hindi 102) will continue with Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script reading and writing practice, and will continue with introductory grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.
- Adults and older teens who already understand and speak Hindi, but who do not know how to read and write in Devanāgarī, may chose to enroll in the Term 1 course only.

Introductory Hindi for Adults (Hindi 103-Continuers):
