We are back in person!

The next JKaiWa event will be held on Thursday 9th July from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, at the Japan Information and Cultural Centre, Level 18, Majestic Centre, 100 Willis Street. Please take note of the time.

We are very excited to see everyone in person again this month, however if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms we ask that you do not attend - stay home and look after yourself.

Numbers are limited, so as always, if you would like to take part, please RSVP by filling out the form at https://forms.gle/n1eg3AuoePC2jSU18 to confirm your place! This event is open to anyone with Japanese conversational ability who wants to practice their language skills, so we encourage you to forward this e-mail to your Japanese-speaking friends (native or learning!) or share the link from the Embassy of Japan in New Zealand's Facebook page.

If you know any Japanese native-speakers that would like to join in, please have them fill out this form too, or ask them to send us an email (in either English or Japanese)!

The Wellington Sakai Association will collect a $2 entry on the door which will be used to provide light refreshments. Entry will be free for Wellington Sakai Association (WSA) members. Due to the current climate we will be providing hand sanitiser and tongs.

JkaiWa is organised by the Wellington JET Alumni Association, Wellington Sakai Association and Japan Society of Wellington and supported by the Embassy of Japan and the Wellington City Council.

From the JKaiWa team!
