Hold up, that’s a nice top. Don’t you think it would look better on someone else, than in the bin? You should join our awesome social clothing swap. Just a Second is a fun and social way to swap clothes and get to know other people.
It’s about building community, reducing textile waste and getting a ‘new’ wardrobe. This is a body-positive event and bookings will be made on a first-in, first-serve basis—only 25 spots available.
How it works:
- Go through your wardrobe and pull out clothes, shoes and accessories that don’t work for you but might work for someone else.
- Make sure they are clean and good quality (maximum of 10 items).
- Put them in a bag.
- Be the first of 20 to secure your spot - $20 per person (complimentary drink + food included).
- Bring your items along to the clothes swap!
Make new friends and go home with ‘new’ clothes.
On the night, our fashion facilitator will showcase each item to the group and you will be given an opportunity to say ‘HEY’ or ‘NAY’.
Complimentary drink + snacks are included in the registration fee + all profits go to our amazing Wellington Curtain Bank.
