Knitters' Picnic

The Gribblehirst Hub Knitting Group will host five knitters’ picnics in local parks on Monday evenings from 6.00-8.00pm in March 2020.

2 March; Coyle Park, Pt Chevalier. Bring your togs
9 March, Owairaka Park, Owairaka Ave
16 March, Fowlds Park
23 March, Potters Park
30 March, Gribblehirst Park

If it rains, we’ll meet at the Gribblehirst Community Hub in Cabbage Tree Swamp Dr.

The picnics will bring knitting groups and knitters together to celebrate knitting in a public way at the beginning of the knitting season. Knitting not only brings joy, but it has long term physical and mental health benefits as well.

All knitters are welcome; learners, fanatics and experts. Just bring a picnic and your knitting. Someone will teach you if you want to learn. Come and make new knitting friends.
