Knitters' Picnic

The Gribblehirst Hub Knitting Group will host five knitters’ picnics in local parks on Monday evenings from 6.00-8.00pm in March 2020. This week we'll be in Fowlds Park at the Auckland Irish Society; rain or shine. Look for the orange banner.

The picnics will bring knitting groups and knitters together to celebrate knitting in a public way at the beginning of the knitting season. Knitting not only brings joy, but it has long term physical and mental health benefits as well.

All knitters are welcome; learners, fanatics and experts. Just bring a picnic and your knitting. Someone will teach you if you want to learn. Come and make new knitting friends.
