La Fiesta is New Zealand's coolest little festival showcasing women. Events happening all over our beautiful Whanganui town from 9 February right through until 8 March. Running annually every February and March, the festival celebrates eleven years in 2020.
Talented local women (and some blokes too) join with presenters coming from around the North Island, as well as a band all the way from Manchester, England. There is something for everyone with events featuring music, movies, movement, community, diverse cultures, art exhibitions, inspirational and educational workshops, heritage tours, and a good dose of old-fashioned dressing up fun.
