A fun and lively class, learn to dance to the music that makes your feet want to tap and your body want to move! Learn how to dance different Latin dance styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha Cha, while you're exercising your whole body.
Everyone is welcome, no matter if you're a pro or just starting. Put on your dancing shoes and move those hips! Feel the beat and let the rhythm take over and dance! The class is open to anyone that wants to improve their current dance skills. Suitable for both sexes! Open level which has something to offer for all levels. Let everyone know. bring along a friend, as this will be a lot of fun!
The class will focus on full body styling and techniques to help improve fluidity and confidence for all styles and levels. The moves and steps we will be putting together for fun animation 'follow me' dances which are great to dance as a group at parties and other social occasions, as well as for shine/choreography routines for upcoming community events, such as the Marlborough Multicultural Festival on 7th February and a whole lot more!.

What Are Animations, Shines & Choreos?
Animations are ‘follow me’ dances, where you follow the lead dancer/s in front of you to a fun routine or set of steps that repeat, animations are usually danced at parties to get everyone up dancing for all levels.
Choreography is a set of moves & steps used to learn and put together with music to form a choreographed routine. The choreos can be used for performing and demonstrations in shows, parties and other dance events for the public or prehapes for a competition. The choreos can either be danced solo, partnered or as a group.
Shines are danced choreos without partners, you can have a ladies shine group, a men’s shine group or a mixed shine group for both sexes.
