A creative workshop for young women 13-18.

This workshop takes you through a self-exploration journey where you’ll create your very own work of art collage on canvas. Lucie will help spark your imagination and provide all the materials you need to bring your ideas to life. This workshop is based on Lucie’s current art project called “Born to Create” where she gathers stories of women who are impactful and inspirational. Through this collection of artworks on skateboards, she hopes communities and young people will be inspired by those around them, proving you don’t need to be famous to make a difference in the world.

We’ll explore the inspiring women in our communities as well as those known worldwide and create a hand-embellished paper collage on canvas. This will strengthen your understanding of what is your source of inspiration and what attributes you want to emulate.

All materials and design guidance are included.

Lucie is a graphic designer and art tutor, originally from Czech Republic. She moved to New Zealand in 2014 and has embraced the culture and art scene over the past few years, further developing her art style from a wide pool of influences and techniques. She brings graphic design and art to children in the form of creative workshops “Design your own board” and “Learn and Create”. She encourages creativity and imagination in a fun environment. Lucie’s aim is to introduce graphic design and creativity as a form of self-expression which is a great way to explore inner thoughts.
