A one-day workshop learning techniques of leather working where you’ll be able to create a project of your own to take away. All materials provided.
Leather craft is making a comeback! Join our experienced and highly-skilled leather worker and learn key skills in this hands-on opportunity to create a project from a choice of the following: belt, credit card holder & wallet, notebook journal cover (2 sizes), plant hanger, set of drink coasters, small box, pencil/pen holder or wrist band. All templates provided. No machine sewing involved and no experience needed!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Identify types of leather
- Cut and pattern leather
- Decorate leather using multiple techniques
- Sew leather using thread or thonging
- Dye leather
- Complete a project to take home
All materials provided but wear closed-toed shoes and old clothing.
