Invercargill/Dunedin psych reggae trio Left Or Right return to play shows in both the towns they call home. Excited to perform brand new material from their yet to be named fourth LP as well as some classic jams, these promise to be two unmissable shows for both loyal or new LOR fans. w/ support from southern legends FOTA featuring Jay Sellwood on vocals.

The Southland Musicians Club has a new PA system as well, so should make for some lovely sounds!

New Zealand Psych/Reggae heavyweight trio Left Or Right are excited to punch back into the NZ live scene. The end of 2019 finished with the band touring in support of the reissue of their debut LP 'Nuggety' on Coffee/Liquorice coloured Vinyl. This was a celebration of the 10th anniversary of its first LP release (6 September 2009). The original Nuggety LP was limited to 300 Nugget Brown records with the reissue restricted to a super limited run of just 35 w/ extra goodies!

The band has released 3 albums to date & all 3 have been pressed and released on limited edition Vinyl. Their latest record 'Trippy' follows on from previous releases Nuggety (2009) & Buzzy (2012) which spent several weeks in The Official NZ Music charts reaching #11 and #5 in the IMNZ Independent charts. Trippy managed to crack #9 on the Official NZ Music charts and reached #2 on the IMNZ independent chart.

2019 was a rollercoaster of a year especially for bassist Seedy attending the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England! The band over Covid 19 NZ lockdown decided to start work on their fourth LP. The songs started out from quiet acoustic jams next to the heater, in Dunz & Inverz (you get cold fingers!) The band rehearses in an old Invercargill butchery and this is where the new tunes get turned into beasts, surrounded by no homes so it can be played loud with walls of amps & drums to get the full effect of the live LOR sound.

The band is ready to hit the stage this summer to play some old classics and unleash this new material.

The band has performed at many NZ festivals including the main stage at Rhythm & Alps (Wanaka), Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival, Bluff Oyster & Seafood Festival, PHAT 09, 10, 11, Kaikoura Roots Festival & Summer Sounds, Feastock Festival Dunedin multiple times, Catlins River Festival, Waikeri Festival, Waitati Music Festival, Karamea Festival & featured on the NZ University Orientation circuit for many years. The band thrives on playing festivals & in their ten years together Left Or Right have also toured NZ & Australia extensively, most tours being lengthy missions playing all the small towns in between.
