Come and experience the wonder of Improv in this exciting 8-week beginners class in improv comedy and theatre taught by improv tutor Jamie Hoare.

In a fun-fueled supportive group environment, through hilarious games, drills and scene work you will develop superpowers including the following:

- Superhuman listening skills

- Amazing physical presence
- Explosive creative energy

There’ll be an end of term grad show for friends and family (Friday, 5th September 7pm) where you can show off all your skills and there will be plenty of opportunities to have additional practice sessions towards the end of the term.

Class size limited so be in quick. Suitable for absolute beginners through to seasoned improvisers looking to try something new.

About the teacher:

Jamie discovered improv in 2016 as a founding member of BaseJump, and loves the free spontaneity, epic laughs, and absurd situations that only improv can create. He has performed in our smash hit NZ Fringe seasons of, The Blender and Hardcore Truth, and in his spare time you can find him riding bikes, writing songs, or rolling on the floor with his son Rimu.
