Highland games in the square is a time to just join in and throw a kilt on and have fun. So it's a fun way of learning some new and doing some of thoughts basic Strongman events.

Events are:
- Light stone put
6kg for women
8.8kg for men

- Farmers walk for distance.
60kg for women
80Kg for men.
- Bremar standing put 12.5kg
- Light weight throw for distance
6.5kg women
12kg men

- Caber toss
Light option
Heavy option

- Natural Stones
60kg to 120kg women
100kg to 155kg men

Anyone can enter and give a go. Manawatu Strength club end of year comp.
