Most of us recognize our impact on the environment, but are unclear of the changes we need make in both our thinking and in the built environment. In the current geopolitical climate there is not yet consensus for the system changes we require as a species.

Edmund Hillary Fellow and Regenerative Explorer, Adam Cohen, has a message for the residents of Nelson. You are in a good position to take on this challenge! His research involves what the Built Environment will look like in a society that values Regeneration (Healing), Abundance (the concept of Enough), and Kindness (Aroha).

We are trying to understand what we will need to do to become a society that no longer has many direct negative effects on the bioregion and biosphere. This talk will discuss the real world impact Nelson can have if each one of you decide to take on this challenge and align your efforts to make significant change
