PLEASE NOTE: Due to Level 2 C-19 restrictions there will be a maximum number of physical attendees permitted. Attendees must register to the eventfinda link to attend the event
A live stream will be running from the Aro Valley Community Council Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/arovalleycommunitycouncil ), and the livestream will be monitored in real time to allow community members to submit their questions for candidates remotely.
AVCC is committed to the safety of our community members, and also recognizes the history and importance of this event, which is why we have taken these steps to ensure that the event can still go ahead, albeit with slight adjustments.
We anticipate that the addition of a livestream will actually increase the reach of the event to attendees, and is a way of modernising the event to reflect the changing times we live in whilst still holding true to the essence and roots of the event.
Doors will be open from 7.00pm, Livestreaming commences from 7:15pm
The event is a great chance to meet the Wellington Central candidates. Each candidate will be given some time to speak and then it's from the floor question time.
In true Aro Valley, style water pistols are part of the action for those candidates who can't stick to their time limit. Let's hope the candidates remember their waterproofs!
