Memories of Lockdown - Photography by Alfred Memelink

As we went into level 4 lockdown and our country turned into a Hiber Nation, our streets turned eerily silent.
But soon everyone realised that this was a great opportunity to walk and walk we did. The superb autumn weather and wonderful lighting together with extra clean skies, meant that the camera was by his side on each walk. Alfred lives in the delightful seaside town of Petone and as he explored the area, he shared photos of the Petone scenery for followers on social media to enjoy who couldn't go to the beach or were constrained to less exciting suburban area for their walks. Alfred had some wonderful experiences during Lockdown and collated a delightful collection of photographs to remember one of the most surreal times we can expect to encounter in our life time.
