A fantastic event for all ages during the spring school holidays. Make it a two day trip and stay overnight in family friendly Methven, there are a lot of scarecrows to find...
The Methven Scarecrow Trail is a school holiday activity for children, families, everyone. A great activity to fill in a day during the school holidays for only $10.00. Methven is an easy one-hour drive from Christchurch or about 20 minutes from Ashburton.
There will be approx 40 scarecrows placed around Methven Village and Scarecrow Hunters can pick up a Scarecrow Trail Map entry form and walk around the village finding the scarecrows and identifying the characters they represent.
The theme for this year's scarecrows is Disney Movie Characters.
There are prizes for the most correct answers and for the best scarecrow as voted by those taking part in the Trail.
This is a community not-for-profit activity and all proceeds go to Methven Primary School.

Methven Foursquare Supermarket - 7 days a week from 7am-8pm.
Entry fee: $10 per entry (the Trail Map is your entry form) cash only.
