On behalf of the Central Otago golf clubs of Alexandra, Arrowtown, Cromwell, Queenstown and Wanaka – we advise the confirmed dates for the postponed 2020 Mount Michael Central Otago Autumn Golf Classic, managed by PaR nz Golfing Holidays.

Now in its 12th year the Mount Michael Central Otago Autumn Golf Classic is arguably one of New Zealand’s, if not, the largest amateur golf tournament and has proven to be extremely popular with local and international golf visitors alike, selling out within a matter of months.

For the programme, 5 rounds will be played consecutively across the various golf courses. Men and women golfers of all ages are welcome to enter. Maximum handicap index for men 32.0 and women 36.0 apply.

The competition format is individual stableford, with daily and overall prizes for both men and women. The field will be limited to 448 golfers confirmed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Initial invitations and entry materials will be sent to past players in the first instance.

The competition also includes a team’s event (4 golfers), with the team score being best 3 stableford scores each day culminating over all five rounds. There are 3 team divisions, mens, womens and mixed.

Tournament entry is NZD$365 pp and includes 5 rounds of golf, a ‘Drop in Wine, Beer & Cheese Welcome’ at Arrowtown GC on Sunday 29th November 2020 presented by the tournaments naming sponsor, Mount Michael Wines and the tournaments Gold Sponsor Partners, Wanaka Beer Works.

The final function with prize giving will be held in Queenstown on Friday 4th December 2020. This includes a light supper and a complimentary beer or glass of wine, cash bar thereafter. This is an additional NZD$35 for players and NZD$50 for any partners that wish to attend.
