Acclaimed as one of Nelson’s treasures, this 45-member a cappella choir has been delighting audiences for 23 years with their high energy, professional sound and vibrancy. They specialise in singing songs from other cultures such as those of eastern Europe, Africa and the South Pacific. These and other cultures will be show-cased in this lunchtime concert. Audiences can expect engaging moods that range from gentle and introspective to rousing, expansive songs replete with harmony, rhythm and dynamism. Creating a mosaic involves fashioning something harmonious and beautiful from a wide variety of materials of different shapes, hues, tones, textures and patterns. Lunchtime concert patrons can look forward to a musical version of this from Mosaic World Music Choir.
