Let's start soft sculpture! Learn everything you need to know to begin needle felting. Design and create your own adorable llama in a relaxed and supportive environment.

In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn how to sculpt 3D creations entirely out of natural, undyed, pure New Zealand wool using the needle felting technique - and the option of adorning your alpaca with colourful yarns and accessories.

At the end of the class, you can add a string at the back of your creation to use as home decor, a baby mobile, or a pin cushion! Pure wool contains lanolin, it's a perfect material for a pin cushion to protect your sewing needles. Wool also retains fragrance, so it can become an interior defuser or an air refresher with a couple drops of your favourite perfume.

Needle felting is time consuming, however, it's addictive and therapeutic as well! Easy to pick up, but hard to get your hands off!
No experience is necessary. All materials and tools are included. you will leave with your one of a kind wool felted llama and the skills to continue sculpting at home.

Workshop length: 4hrs. This workshop is not suitable for children, as we will use very sharp tools.
