New Years Eve At The Portage

Davey is a veteran singer & songwriter and will be performing for us this New Years Eve.

No stranger to an upbeat New Year’s party, he was a former member of iconic Christchurch combo The Black Velvet band for over a decade. With the BVB, he has headlined both Cathedral Square and Hagley Park New year’s Eve celebrations!. He was even band leader for ‘The Vanguard’ the official band of the Crusaders rugby team.

Davey also performs as a genuine one man band ‘Li’l Chuck The One Man Skiffle Machine’ with 3 albums to his name, including ‘Utility Blues’ that hit No.6 in the official NZ albums, album chart.
