Bursting back into life on the evening of Saturday 22 February is McDonalds Kihikihi Speedway!

Race meeting #6 for the season features the New Zealand Saloon Grand Prix and some of the best drivers from all over the country.

Heading the charge will be defending and two time Grand Prix winner Gisborne’s Ethan Cook. He may be young but this seasoned campaigner is also the 2018/19 New Zealand Champion seeking to be the first ever, triple crown GP winner. His brother Dan Cook will be hot on his heals as a three time North Island Champion, a Grand Prix podium has eluded his trophy cabinet.

Plenty of locals will be up for the challenge and their home track knowledge should be an advantage. Top cars from Auckland, Mt Maunganui, Stratford, Hawkes Bay and beyond will feature in a one race, grand final to determine the overall champion.

Also on the nights bill will be a full field of the always entertaining Stockcars and the future of speedway Ministocks.

So pack a picnic, bring the family and your friends and join us at the home of Waipa’s dirt track action attraction located in the Kihikihi Domain, the family friendly, 65 years young McDonalds Kihikihi Speedway. Gates open at 3pm racing starts 5pm sharp!
