Night at the Museum

The Museum has been on Rolleston Avenue for 150 years. To celebrate, we made a book of 150 taonga (treasures) – but one of the pages is missing!

Dress up as something you might find in a Museum and search the Museum by torchlight for clues that will tell you which taonga is missing from the book.

If you can solve the puzzle, you’ll go in the draw to win a great prize. Post a photo of your costume on our Facebook page to enter the competition for best dressed.

The Museum Cafe will be open and staff will be reading stories in the Visitor Lounge.

Free event; donations appreciated. Please bring a torch. Explorers under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
