Opunake Open Studios & Galleries Open Days 2020: POSTPONED

The Opunake artist collective known as Opunake Open Studios & Galleries will be warmly opening their doors to visitors this April 4-5 and June 6-7. Artist studios included are The Brown Bach Studio, home based studio of Claire Jensen, Monica Willson- art and Opunake Framing Studio, Rhonda Crawford Art and The Little French Bird photography by Emmanuelle Charmant.

Artist galleries consist of On the Coast Art featuring the work Karen Dey, from out of the blue studio gallery featuring fibre art by Viv Davy and others, and Pihama Lavender Gallery featuring the art of Liz Sinclair and other Taranaki artists. ‘Emporium’ is a recent addition to the group soon to open as a gallery and gift shop at 86 Tasman Street.

All artist galleries are open on the weekends, while artist studios are available for viewings upon request. ‘Collectives’, an exhibition at the Lysaght Watt Gallery in Hawera , showcases the work of these artists along with the Ohawe Creative Community. Exhibition runs from March 4-28, 2020.
