Opunake Open Studios & Galleries Open Days 2020

The Opunake artist collective, Opunake Open Studios & Galleries was established in 2019 and has rapidly grown to include the venues of 10 artists. This collective represents a diverse range of disciplines and provides a quality experience for visitors to Opunake. Artists warmly welcome visitors throughout the year and during events such as South Taranaki Arts Fest, 2020.

Artist studios included are The Brown Bach Studio-Claire Jensen, Rhonda Crawford Art, The Little French Bird photography- Emmanuelle Charmant and the studio of Shelley Slater.

Galleries include On the Coast Art-Karen Dey, from out of the blue studio gallery-Viv Davy and others, Pihama Lavender Gallery- Liz Sinclair and other Taranaki artists, Kakano Gallery and studio of Kiri McGuire, The Emporium Gallery and Gifts- NZ creatives, and the gallery of Dr Tabatha Forbes and Chauncey Flay.

Galleries are open on the weekends, while artist studios are available for viewings upon request or as advertised.
