Our Braided Rivers - Christchurch EnviroHub Exhibition

New Zealand’s braided rivers and their ecosystems are unique and rare, and they need our help!

Visit the Christchurch EnviroHub’s braided river exhibition, in the Botanic Gardens Kiosk, to learn about these special environments, the wildlife that calls them home, and the threats that are putting these rivers at risk of extinction.

Learn about river protection groups and sign-up for upcoming river care events at our information table.

After you’ve visited our exhibition, adventure through the Botanic Gardens to complete our Agents of Discovery mission!

Make sure to download the free Agents of Discovery app from Google Play and the App Store, before attending the exhibition.

You can find the Braided River Adventure in the Botanic Gardens mission in the app. You won't need WiFi or data onsite, but we recommend downloading the app and the mission before you visit.

The Agent's of Discovery mission will be available anytime, while the exhibition is subject to other events happening in the Botanic Gardens Kiosk.
