Our P6/P3 is a 3 or 6 hour introductory adventure race. This is one of our most fun events to organise! Check out the photos from past years. The P6 is an adventure race for all levels - mainly aimed as an introductory adventure race for people to try it out, but the course is also set so the hardcore adventure racers will also be challenged.
Teams of 2 or 4 people try to score as many points as they can in 3 or 6 hours. You can score points by getting the navigational checkpoints or completing the various mystery activities (activities needing a mix of brains, brawn, teamwork and style!).
The event is a mix of run/walk, tubing and mountain bike - don't worry though, you won't be exercising for the whole 3 or 6 hours cause the activities spaced throughout the time mean you have breaks. Also the navigation is very easy and the optional checkpoints means you decide how far and wide you'll go.
No support crew needed as the event centre is the central hub for all stages.
Based at a secret location (within 60 minutes of Auckland) which is revealed in the week of the event.
