Palmy Park(ing) Day

What could you do with twelve square metres of space?

That's the challenge for a handful of keen placemakers. Usually, you would find a car parked up in that amount of space, but what other weird and wonderful things could it host?

Palmy is hosting its first Park(ing) Day as part of an annual global event that began in 2005, where citizens, artists, designers, engineers, environmentalist collaborate to transform metered parking spaces into living parks temporarily.
Twelve living parks will appear around Palmy’s CBD for one day only.

Park(ing) Day participants have been beavering away to transform a carpark each into their own style of the miniature park for the day. Grab a trail map from each of the installations and experience each space.
