Pecha Kucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where people show 20 images, each for 20 seconds.
The images advance automatically and presenters talk along to the images.
Each presentation lasts 6 minutes 40 seconds. A Pecha Kucha Night will consist of 10-12 presenters.
Pecha Kucha was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham Architecture Tokyo, as a way for people to share their ideas, their lives, their passions and their projects with their community in an exciting, precise and definitely not boring way.
The first PechaKucha Night was held in Tokyo, in February, 2003. Klein Dytham architecture still organize and support the global PechaKucha Night network and organize PechaKucha Night Tokyo.
Pecha Kucha Nights now happens in over 1200 cities worldwide.
