Pest/Compost and Plant Information Day: CANCELLED

Come down to the Bayview Community Centre for a sausage sizzle and information day from 10-12. Compost collective and Pest Free Kaipatiki will be here to talk to.

The Compost info and troubleshooting advice talk will be facilitated by Pip and offers an introduction to different ways of composting. Come and discover how easy it is!

Confirmed participants will receive a $40.00 discount toward the purchase of a composting system that can be redeemed online.

Pest Free Kaipatiki will be able to help identify weeds in your backyard if you bring a photo or clipping. Then see if you need to borrow any of the tools from the toolshed to deal with it. They will also give trapping and baiting advice and assistance.

Also have a chat about the best plants to use in your garden, what plants are good for the birds and we will have some plants to give away throughout the day.

Some light outdoor tool maintenance will also be able to be provided on the day. So bring down those stiff secateurs and see if we can get them going again for you.
