This workshop will be run by Barnie Duncan - New Zealand born comedian and theatre maker with over 17 years experience in making devised theatre, physical comedy and stand up comedy.
Barnie and fellow New Zealander Trygve Wakenshaw formed a theatre company in 2003, and formulated a unique physical style. In this workshop Barnie will share techniques he and Trygve use to generate work.
Barnie regularly tours his work around Europe and Asia, and won the Best Comedy Award at Adelaide Fringe 2018, the Genius Award for Most Original Work at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014, the Fringe Award in Auckland Fringe 2013, and was recently nominated for the prestigious Fred Award at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
