Practical Method Chen Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is the authentic traditional Chinese martial art. The theory is a complex and complete system. The principles are unique, clear and strict. The practice is not easy but rewarding in so many ways!
In this introduction workshop, we will talk about:
- The history of Taiji and Practical Method
- Yin and Yang
- Practical Method system
- Practical Method Taiji principles
- The stages of the practice
We will also practice some foundations and possibly forms, so please be prepared for some physical exercise.

A bit about me.
I have been teaching Practical Method for just over a year now. And I have been a group fitness instructor since Feb 2016.
I am currently the only qualified instructor for Practical Method (Master Chen Zhonghua lineage) in New Zealand. And I am devoted to training, teaching and promoting this traditional art!
My teacher is Master Chen Zhonghua, who is the 19th generation of Chen Style Taijiquan and the international standard bearer of Practical Method.
