A Peaceful Mind in a Turbulent World - H.E. Ling Rinpoche.

His Eminence Ling Rinpoche is a renowned Tibetan Buddhist Lama who has gained wide respect during his decades of study and practice in His Holiness The Dalai Lama’s monasteries in India.

HH The Dalai Lama recognised Rinpoche as the reincarnation of His principal teacher who had passed away in the mid 1980’s and has taken care to oversee his development since.

Since his graduation in 2017 H.E. Ling Rinpoche has been in increasing demand around the world. His public talks apply a mix of ancient wisdom and contemporary perspectives to everyday challenges.

He is a shining example of the Tibetan tradition which sometimes identifies the reincarnations of great practitioners. They are sought because of their highly developed compassion and wisdom and then given the opportunity to reconnect with Buddhism. Some, such as H.E. Ling Rinpoche, do manage to fully reconnect with their previous way of life.

Rinpoche’s deep devotion to HH The Dalai Lama is evident as his talks remind us that loving kindness accords with our true nature and is the basis of personal mental health and peace in the world.

In a turbulent world where increasing environmental problems expose our global village’s organisational challenges, the value of inner peace and equanimity has never been more pressing. To reduce our carbon footprint, we need non-material ways to feel satisfied with life. Rinpoche will speak for about an hour and then receive questions from the audience.

The Dhargyey Buddhist Centres in Dunedin and Christchurch, in conjunction with FPMT are very pleased to be able to offer New Zealanders the opportunity to listen to this highly accomplished Buddhist Master. This first visit to NZ begins in Auckland in late February and takes in The Coromandel, then Nelson and Dunedin, before its conclusion in Christchurch.
