In conjunction with Heritage Month, Aotea Utanganui presents a pop-up photographic exhibition at Ōpunakē LibraryPlus.
The exhibition showcases collection photographs, from 1880s-2000s, of the people and places of Ōpunakē and invites visitors to replicate these images through their own lens. Enticed with a treasure-trove of epic prizes from local businesses, visitors can participate in a competition that takes them outdoors, re-photographing the Ōpunakē street scenes in the exhibition with their own camera.
So duck down to the Ōpunakē LibraryPlus, pick up a competition brochure and start taking some selfies at the old dump, beach, and iconic Tasman Street businesses. Happy snapping on the spot!
Competition prizegiving: Ōpunakē LibraryPlus 3.30pm, Wednesday 4th November
