About the Retreat
In Kadampa Buddhism, breathing meditation is the foundational practice through which we learn to improve our mindfulness and concentration and develop inner peace and stillness within the mind. On this basis we can learn meditations that improve our capacity for love, joy and wisdom. The beautiful and transformative meditations of giving love and taking away suffering enable us to develop all these qualities simultaneously.

On this special retreat we will gain experience of these inspiring meditations, opening the door to the deep happiness that comes from improving our human nature.

Retreat Sessions

There are four sessions each day, each session lasting approximately one hour. The sessions combine practical instruction and guided meditation that will allow you to:

- Connect with an experience of true inner peace
- Develop basic techniques that can help you to create a consistent habit
of meditation
- Give you methods to cultivate and improve healthy, positive states of
mind such as love and compassion.

Session One: 9 – 10am
Session Two: 11.30am – 12.30pm
Session Three : 4.30 – 5.30pm
Session Four: 7 – 8pm
