Bike powered poetry, performed live!
Poets Liz Breslin, Laura Williamson and Annabel Wilson of Poetic Justice Wanaka are putting spokes in the word this November. The three women will e-bike the length of the Rail Trail and perform spoken word / poetry shows at historic old halls in five locations along the way: Clyde, Ophir, Oturehua, Ranfurly and Middlemarch.
No two shows will be the same, and you can buy tickets for one show or a discounted whole tour pass.
At each stop, different local voices and stories will be added to the mix, celebrating how literature and landscape have been shaped by each other in the region covered by the Rail Trail. Even better, touring by bike means the whole thing is emissions-free.
Wanaka's The Film Crew will also be along for the ride to make a film of the tour.
Come along for an outspoken good time.
Doors open from 6:30pm.
