The Random Directions Film Project is an annual Blenheim based Film Project created to encourage year round film making, inspire new ideas and challenge the status quo for Marlborough Movie Makers and Creatives.

The Random Directions Movie Night is held after each round to showcase these locally made movies. This year we will be screening 18 short films made right here in Marlborough by Marlborough Film Makers.

The Random Directions Film Project is not about showcasing the best of the best or the highest quality films. It is not a competition, there are no awards ceremonies or certificates. Random Directions was created to showcase ALL locally made movies and filmmakers on an equal level; From first timers, weekend warriors or experienced filmmakers, we are here to celebrate ALL films - the good, the bad and the ugly!
