There isn't a better time to 'Retreat - Reset - Reconnect' than right now!

After lockdowns, stress, anxiety, loneliness and focusing on bad news, it's time to nourish ourselves with a weekend to reset our wellbeing. Join other like-minded souls for two days of yoga, meditation, massage, delicious food brought to you at a wonderful new venue overlooking the picturesque Picton harbour.

Julie Stephens is brimming with excitement to share this 2-day escape in Picton with you all. Julie will lead yoga sessions including Vinyasa Flow, Meditation, Yin Yoga/Restorative and Yoga Philosophy.
Who is Julie Stephens? Julie has 20 years experience teaching in various countries around the globe. She feels blessed to have trained with Erich Schiffman, Donna Farhi, Seane Corn and Shiva Rea to name just a few. Julie hosts teacher training programs as well as her regular clients in Nelson.
Chiropractor Lindsey Ellison will offer a presentation on the Basic introduction of Anatomy, discussing stretch techniques, stabilising and how to avoid common injuries.

'Yoga Chef' Damian Oehlrich is returning after popular demand to create plant-based lunches and afternoon teas. Damian is passionate about creating delicious vegan dishes, packed with nutritious goodness.

Chef Damian will also share some tips on preparing some plant-based 'on-the-go' guilt-free performance snacks.

Each student will receive a 10-minute relaxing Indian head massage to complete their wellbeing.

9.30-Vinyasa Flow
11- Meditation
11.30- Lindsay’s- Basic introduction of Anatomy, tissue types etc.

12.30- Lunch
Indian Head Massage/Walk

2.30-Lindsey continued –
Learn the difference between a good stretch verses a bad stretch
Common injuries and how to avoid/stabilize these areas.

3.30-Afternoon tea
4- Yin Yoga- Restorative Session finishing with Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.
6- Depart for the day

Those staying in Picton can arrange to meet for dinner

Monday
8.30 to 10. Vinyasa Flow
10 Meditation.
In this session we will sit for 20mins and do walking meditation for 10mins

10.30-12.30 Introduction to Yoga Philosophy, the Yoga History Timeline.
8 Limbs; The guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life.

12.30 Lunch
1.30 Yoga Workshop – Arm balances
3 Plant based ‘On the Go’ snack tips with Damian
3.45 - 5.15 Interactive partner yoga (depending on covid restrictions)
5.15 -6 Farewell afternoon tea

This will be two full days of yoga, meditation, reconnecting with your body and nourished with delicious plant-based food.
