Looking for something to do on the last Friday of the School holidays?
Get ya gumboots on and head to the square under Feilding's landmark clock tower for loads of rural themed family fun and activities between 10 am and 1 pm.
We’ve got a Petting Zoo coming, UCOL are looking after our Gumboot Tossing activity and handing out stuff, there will be sack races, egg and spoon races to satisfy your competitive streak, potato stamping and Kimbolton Sculpture display for you crafty people out there, Horizon’s Enviro School are bringing creatures from the River and other cool things, FMG are having a sausage sizzle, pin the tail on the cow and colouring in, Barnardo’s are organising free fun activities for U5’s and yes there will be a bouncy castle and face painting.
To satisfy your sweet tooth Manchester Lions will be making and selling bags of Candy Floss.
The Coachhouse Museum will have its Stagecoach parked up so you can take photos in or standing next to it. Weather permitting, they will be giving Tractor Milk Wagon rides as well.
Don’t forget the Farmer’s Market will be on for you to purchase Spring treats and Goodness.
At 12 noon cheer on teams from local businesses as they dash around the Square in their gummies dressed in weird, wild and woolly get ups trying to win the converted Gumboot Trophy (that has kindly been donated this year by Feilding Jockey Club) and bragging rights for the year.
Loads of fun and laughs!
