To celebrate the timing of the informal National Poetry Day 2020 in NZ The Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club has organised a free screening of the Sam Hunt documentary- Purple Balloon and other Stories . The free showing has been arranged courtesy of the the film's producer Tim Rose .
Sam has been an icon taking his poetry around New Zealand for over 40 years. The doco features contriibutions from Gary MacCormick, Karyn Hay, C K Stead. The showing will be in the quality Balcony function area.
Non-club members (public) are welcome.
