A Mystery at the Old House
Rata Studios has a house, well actually it’s a School Hostel but, you can’t go inside…. because it’s not real… but we want you to act as if its real and you are inside. You see, it’s a CG house, a computer-generated house, where there’s a mystery to unravel.
This holiday course you will learn the tricks and techniques of green screen acting.
The modern film actor needs the skills required to act and work in a green screen environment, especially now that travel to overseas locations is limited.
The Green Screen Holiday Course: Mystery At the Old House is a Devising Creative course, it is a collaborative process, the students original work will emerge from their collaborative efforts where we will invite parents to a showing of their film on Friday afternoon.
“It’s just part of the vocabulary of a contemporary screen actor,” says Sam Neill, “so you’d better get used to it.”
