Show Me Shorts presents an evening of Oscar-nominated short films. Join us to enjoy the best short films in the world, according to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

There are four animated shorts and four live action shorts:
- Brotherhood directed by Meryan Joobeur - Mohamed is deeply shaken when his oldest son Malik returns home after a long journey with a mysterious new wife.
- Memorable directed by Bruno Collet - An aging painter and his wife struggle increasingly to cope with his advancing dementia.
- Dcera (Daughter) directed by Daria Kashcheeva - The bond between a father and a daughter is imperiled by matters that go unspoken and hurts that are slow to heal.
- A Sister directed by Delphine Girard - A night. A car. Alie is in danger. To get by she must make the most important phone call of her life.
- The Neighbors’ Window directed by Marshall Curry - The life of a middle aged woman with small children is shaken up when two free-spirited twenty-somethings move in across the street.
- Kitbull directed by Rosana Sullivan - An unlikely connection sparks between two creatures: a fiercely independent stray kitten and a pit bull. Together, they experience friendship for the first time.
- Hair Love directed by Matthew A. Cherry - A father tries to do his daughter's hair for the first time.
- Nefta Football Club directed by Yves Piat - In a Tunisian village, children are playing football on a wasteland. Meanwhile, Abdallah and Mohammed come across a donkey with headphones on his ears and bags full of a white powder on his back.

The screening takes place in the upstairs function room at The Third Eye. There is no allocated seating, so we encourage you to arrive early. The bar will be open with food and drink available for purchase.
