Silvercity consists of two companies, Argentex and ArgenTech, which occupy two previously vacant shop spaces in New Brighton. Silvercity is part of Mark Schroder’s ongoing exploration of boom and bust economic cycles and reconstituted scams and fronts in which Schroder creates fictitious companies, as well as their business plans, premises, and corporate paraphernalia.
With thanks to Ilam School of Fine Arts and the building owner of 12-14 Brighton Mall for their support of Silvercity.
